Stops

Featured Stops

Peace park at Imjingak Tourist Area

Imjingak Tourist Area

The DMZ's signature peace-themed park, with the Hill of Music, a windmill park, Korean War memorials and Unification Park: a place for the whole family to read the history of the two Koreas.

Entrance to the Third Infiltration Tunnel

Third Infiltration Tunnel

One of the tunnels dug by North Korea for a southward invasion, discovered in 1978. Wearing a helmet, you go deep underground to see this Cold War relic; the passage is steep and narrow, so judge your own fitness.

Odusan Unification Observatory

Odusan Unification Observatory

The closest vantage point to Seoul for looking into North Korea. Through the telescopes you can see villages and guard posts across the Imjin River, making it a popular photography spot.

Panmunjom (JSA)

The Joint Security Area, the only place where soldiers of North and South Korea stand face to face, and the venue of several summits. It is currently closed to visitors; whether a visit can be arranged depends on the latest official announcements.
