Highlights

Itinerary
On arrival in Bangkok your private driver meets you at the airport and takes you straight to your hotel in the city. There is no rush to squeeze in sights today: the time is kept free for immigration, collecting luggage and checking in to rest, so you are fresh for the days ahead. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
After breakfast you head to the Maeklong Railway Market, famous as the market on the tracks, and watch the train creep in right alongside the stalls. Next comes the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where you board a sampan and weave through the lively canals. In the afternoon you visit Wat Bang Kung, the temple held in the embrace of tree roots, then stop for a drink at the dreamy overwater cafe Bubble In The Forest Café, before finishing with a browse around the newly opened Thonburi Market Place, Bangkok's answer to Tsukiji seafood market. Lunch is Thai rice-noodle soup with Thai milk tea; dinner is at your own expense so you are free to wander.
Today you travel to the ancient capital of Ayutthaya. First stop is Sriayuthaya Lion Park, where you ride a jeep out to meet the giraffes for close-up photos; at midday you visit the Ayutthaya prawn market and choose your own sweet river prawns. In the afternoon you change into elegant traditional Thai dress and wander Wat Chaiwatthanaram and Wat Mahathat, posing among the weathered stupas for photos that feel like stepping back in time. Then you board a long-tail boat to watch elephants playing in the river and try feeding them. Back in Bangkok, you explore the newly opened JODD FAIRS night market, with dinner at your own expense from its many popular street-food stalls.
Today you can sleep in and explore Bangkok at your own pace, or, with a minimum of four travellers, add one of two optional day trips. Option A heads to the Emerald Bay private beach club in Pattaya, with 17 land and sea activities, a buffet, seasonal fruit and refreshing coconuts, followed by the MongChang Cafe elephant cafe and the Terminal 21 Pattaya shopping mall. Option B goes to Kanchanaburi Safari Park, then rides the train along the most scenic stretch of the Thai-Burma Death Railway before visiting the Kanchanaburi Skywalk and the River Kwai Bridge. The exact activities, meals and costs are confirmed in the formal quote.
After breakfast at the hotel, you check out according to your flight time. Your private driver takes you to Bangkok airport, and on the way you can look back on the boats of the floating market, the Thai dress in Ayutthaya and the surprise of meeting the giraffes, flying home safely with five days of laughter and photos. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
