Winter Sonata filming location, Nami Island (ferry included) – Petite France · Italian Village Pinocchio and Da Vinci – Samaksan Lake Cable Car amid lake and mountain scenery
Today's itinerary takes you to Nami Island, the filming location of the K-drama Winter Sonata, where picture-postcard scenery and enchanting lake and mountain views await. We board the ferry together and admire the water and hills along the way, as if stepping into a dream. Next we continue to Petite France and the Italian Village, a corner of Korea with a strongly European flavour, where you can stroll the lanes, soak up the French and Italian atmosphere, taste local food and sample traditional culture. We also visit the Pinocchio and Da Vinci museum, a thoroughly entertaining stop where you can learn the stories of the puppets and of Da Vinci and admire marionettes of every kind. Finally we ride the Samaksan Lake Cable Car for magnificent mountain and lake views: from the cabin you look down over the whole range and feel the wonder of nature.
Everland – the new graffiti show THE PAINTERS HERO2
Today's itinerary takes you to Everland, one of Korea's most popular theme parks, where you can enjoy all kinds of rides and activities and spend happy hours with family or friends. Everland is made up of several themed zones, including the Safari World wildlife area, the Four Seasons Garden, the Monkey Valley adventure, Lost Valley and the Sky Cruise cable car; with a free-ride pass you can choose whichever areas interest you and try the activities you like. In the afternoon we go to see the new graffiti show THE PAINTERS HERO2, a hugely popular art performance that blends music, dance and live painting into a riot of colour, adding another dimension to your trip. Today's itinerary is perfect for families or groups of friends, mixing fun and the arts in one happy day. We hope you enjoy every minute!
Bukchon Hanok Village + Samcheong-dong – Namsan Park + N Seoul Tower – Love Locks wall – Myeongdong, a shopping paradise
Today we take you to Bukchon Hanok Village and Samcheong-dong, one of Korea's oldest neighbourhoods, where traditional Korean architecture and culture have been preserved. Wander the old streets and get a feel for traditional Korean culture and ways of life. In the afternoon we head to Namsan Park and N Seoul Tower, one of Korea's top hundred must-see sights. Enjoy the scenery in Namsan Park and make a wish at the Love Locks wall, then take in views across the city from around N Seoul Tower. Finally we visit Myeongdong, Seoul's famous shopping district, where you can catch the latest fashion and trends and pick up all kinds of goods. It is a rich and varied day that shows you both traditional Korean culture and modern city life. We hope you have a wonderful time!
Seoul – Airport drop-off
If time allows, we can fit in a few more places you would like to see to round off the trip. If you would like to shop or taste more local food, we are happy to recommend a few different spots so you can enjoy Korea's flavours and specialities to the last. Finally we drive you to Incheon Airport and help with check-in and your luggage, with a last chance for Korean food and gifts so you fly home with happy memories.
